Who we are
The Institute for Geospatial Research & Education (IGRE) is an applied geographic information technology (GIT) research group operating under the corporate umbrella of Eastern Michigan University. Our research team is comprised of faculty, visiting scholars, full time staff and a cadre of graduate students.

What we do                                                                                    

 IGRE specializes in geodatabase and relational database design, GIT application development, interactive maping, website design, data conversion, remote sensing, modeling and related technologies.

IGRE provides research and outreach services to Federal, State, Township and Municipal government agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, Researchers and the Private Sector.
