WHO WE ARE                                                                                 
The Institute for Geospatial Research & Education (IGRE)  is an applied geographic information technology research group operating under the corporate umbrella of Eastern Michigan University. Our research team  is comprised of faculty, visiting scholars, full time staff and a cadre of graduate students.

WHAT WE DO                                                                                IGRE specializes in GIS education, mapping, geodatabase design, web  development, data conversion, remote sensing, modeling and related geospatial technologies.
